The Scuttlebutt: A Brief Biography of William Szilveszter
William Szilveszter prides himself on his methodical and meticulous nature. He strives to attain perfection in all his endeavours—seriously, there is just no cutting corners with this guy. This painstaking attention to detail bleeds into his work. A strong foundation in Interaction Design, coupled with a well-balanced eye for beauty, allows him to create products that marry aesthetics and usability.
He currently holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Honours (special focus on perception and cognition), a minor in Philosophy, and has over ten years experience with Adobe Photoshop and XHTML/CSS/PHP based web design. His true passions lie in graphical user interfaces and general product usability.
Constantly frustrated by things just "not working right," he aims to make the technology of this world usable. This evolutionary way of thinking is the driving force behind all his products.
At the end of the day, this is not only his job, but his passion (or life's calling, as it where). We literally had to chain him to a Coke machine at our last Christmas party to keep him from working. He claimed he "just need[ed] to re-align a few more pixels."
He's unabashed, a relentless problem-solver and critical thinker. Someone once said, he "tackles problems sideways" (even he's not sure what that means, exactly).
